Iron Mines Mission Bug??
If any of you have been trying to do the Iron Mines of Moladunes, otherwise known as the infusion run yesterday, you may have noticed that the mission does not come to an end. Nor do the cutscenes trigger both at the Seer and after laying the smackdown on Markis. I've tried on three occasions (even one where my party killed everything) and still nothing. And when everyone dies the party is not sent back to the Iron Mines outpost. We have to leave the party manually.
I'd like to know if any of you expericneced this as well, if it has been fixed or, if the mission's been altered with new, undocumented changes.

Are you sure you freed (and then killed) all 4 Jade near Markis? They changed the mission so that it doesn't end immediately after killing Markis - so that you can cap his elite before the mission ends.

I tried the mission four times yesterday. The last time we killed just about everything on the map and nothing triggered so we we're all left there, wondering. We went back to seer, nothing.
Back at the Iron Mines outpost many people were claiming that the mission could not be completed and only the infusion process worked. One warrior said to me that there are almost no one at Ember Camp in the Ring of Fire because everyone is stucked at Moladunes.

i heard about this too - haven't been in there yet but several people told me that a) the cutscene near the seer won't come and b) markis vanished - thus leaving you without possiblity to finish the objective.
there is a path to thunderhead through explorable areas - after you got infused you can take that to continue but it's just a work-around.

I tried it this morning and it was bugged. Killed Markis and all 4 Jades, and nothing happened. Even if your party dies, you don't even get the "Return to Outpost" screen. You just lie there. It's definitely screwed up. I'm surprised it's been fuxxored all day and not fixed yet.

I've had this happen...he is still there...you have to just go through all the mursurat to get to him then come back to finish it where you normally do.

Just completed the mission, did not try the bonus, but the cut scene at The Seer did not occur, nor did the mission end several minutes after we killed Markis and his 4 Jade companions.

Aww...I so should have read this post before beating this for my first time today. That hurt so bad. And we actually did it with henchmen, me and a friend. I was pretty upset.

That mission has always sucked as far as not getting done, but yes I have had this happen to me too.
Your not alone, no cuts, no completing, and very annoying.

What really sucks is that now that it's screwed up I managed to get oh so wonderful parties. Tried 3 times today wiped out all the map and came out with nothing...This is a reason I'm quitting Guild Wars, how could they have this matter running for 3 days without doing anything? If Anet is uncapable of handling all the problems with the new guild wars and having to screw up with the current missions, then to hell with Anet and it's crap.

You can see markis running across a bridge above you at the beginning of the mission. On his way to the end he sometimes gets blocked (thanks shitty pathing). In order for the mission to finish you have to kill him, so if he's not at the end you have to either restart and hope he gets there the next time, or back track through the path with the mursatt and locate him.

Wether you beat Markis at the beggining, at the end or when he's taking a potty break doesn't make any difference. The cutscene doesn't kick in and you're left stranded with no other clue.
The only way around this stupid bug, which ANet didn't acknowledged nor said anything about, is to run directly to Thunderhead.

Yeah, I've just done the mission to get infused with my new armor.
-Cut scene didn't play at Seer.
-Nothing happened when Markis died, so I set free the jades.
-Killed all the jades, and nothing happened.
One thing I noticed after beating up the end of the mission:
In mission objectives, all it said was:
-Find the Seer (crossed out)
-Bring the Spectral Essence to the Seer (crossed out).
There was no mention in the mission objectives about killing Markis and his Jade Guards- the only time this appeared was right at the start of the mission.
Really hope this is fixed soon, I want to get past Moladune >_>, especially since I've infused two sets of armor, and beaten the mission with Henchmen..

Still not fixed.
I didn't believe the kind people who told me before we partied up and left so that my guildie could advance his monkee.
No cutscene at the Seer (no Running for Infusion only )
We killed Markis (he was where he's supposed to be)
We killed the 4 Jades
Nothing happened.
We went on and killed almost EVERYTHING in the mission - Nothing
We tried to activate the Bonus - Nothing
We all died at the last group of living enemies to see what would happen... No return to outpost option.
(there were about 8 chests and no one brought keys! )
At least people got infused, and a few skill capped.
We then grabbed a group of infused, disgruntled people and ran everyone to Grotto and Thunderhead Keep (for free).
I've done this mission MANY times, for my chars, and to help guildies... I KNOW how it's supposed to work... and it just doesn't. Not cool. Especially for those that DIDN'T get infused, and ran to THK... ouch.
Did this Saturday Evening - about 1:30 AM EST.

What really annoys me about this mission bug, is that it's not a tiny glitch, it`s not like saying "Hey, I saw a rabbit in the Ring of Fire". This is a major bug which prevents people from following the storyline.
No one can tell me that ANet doesn't know about this bug. If they would just acknowledge this and tell us that they're working on this would probably make things easier. We would stop getting at Iron Mines and keep asking if the mission has been fixed.

I hope this was an attempt to fix the so-called "rushing"in Iron Mines. Personally, I really -enjoy- the races that happened to get to the Seer. When the first fix happened (ie: one infusion infuses everything), it took a little fun out of it for me.
I hope they're not completely removing the racetrack. <-- sadface.
